Come together in celebration of Jewish Disabilities Awareness, Acceptance, and Inclusion Month (JDAAIM)
Two Jewish day schools in the greater Boston area have been working to shift the culture of inclusion of neurodiverse students in their schools for the last five years. Learn about key principles the school leadership teams have incorporated into their culture change process and how this work has raised the bar for all students. Take away concrete suggestions based on lessons learned and collaborate with colleagues from across the field to discuss how you might advance this work in your own context. This will be an interactive session for heads of school and principals, including opportunities to break out into small group discussions. Participants will leave with an expanded mindset on why inclusion matters now for all schools, and immediate takeaways on how to improve your school’s efforts in this area.
This event is open to all who are interested, whether or not you work in Jewish day schools. Please note: you will need to create a free login to register for the event.
